a short video summarizing some of the most important characteristics of students today - how they learn, what they need to learn, their goals, hopes, dreams, what their lives will be like

Interesting and amusing, you should pass it on to the educational minister. He might get some insight and food for thought.

Students today think they are hard done by. They spend all that time in school, college, university, and learn nothing. I had to leave school at 15, year 10, and go to work, and hand my unopened pay packet over to my mother. She needed the money, my father quit work and there was no centrelink payments to feed the family, father, mother, myself and two younger brothers. I had to go to work during the day, night school at night, and then on to university to get a better job. No hand outs that modern day kids get. When I left school in 1956 I was told I had an excellent education - to year 10. These spoilt children need to wake up and realise they are wasting their lives, their precous youth on things of no value, ie face book, text messaging, talking on mobile phones. One day they will realise they have missed golden opportunities. Children is poorer countries who get no schooling, or minimal schooling, would love the opportunities these spoilt brats are fritting away.

January 08 - It's a strange day and you're feeling rather irritable and nervy. Maybe you have to protect someone's feelings or it's not the right moment to let off steam? However, swallowing your anger won't make it go away so try to find some therapeutic ways to release the tension, otherwise you'll unconsciously wind everyone up and start a fight that way.
