This is an open letter to all you parents who refuse to 'lie' to your children about Santa, Tooth Fairy,Easter Bunny et al.
Would you all please SHUT UP?? And stay away from my kids with your loose lipped offspring?

Miss 6 came home from school today: "Taylor (name changed to protect the guilty) said that there's no such thing as Santa. It's just your parents. And parents eat Santa's cookies. And reindeer can't fly".
Aaaargh!!
The fun of believing gone just like that - the poor kid hasn't even lost a tooth yet and some darling has already informed her that there is no such thing as the Tooth Fairy.
Now, before you rave on about how it's wrong to lie to children blah blah blah blah - I've heard it all before - 2 of my closest friends are truth tellers. BUT they have told their kids to keep it under their hat. And they do.
So please if you are a truth-teller or, as I prefer to call you: a magic-denier, please please allow us lying parents to have the magic of Christmas and tell your kids to keep their mouths closed.
