WINTHROP super fish Sigrid de Vries returned home from the Victorian State swimming championships with three bronze medals.
The talented teenager travelled to Melbourne with coach Peta Goodsell and 11 other Blue Marlin team-mates for the event, featuring 128 clubs from around Australia.
De Vries was the only club member to win a medal, taking bronze in the 100m breaststroke, 100m backstroke and 200m breaststroke events.
The team finished 28th overall.
Five of De Vries’ times were good enough to qualify for Age National Championships to be held in Sydney in April.
Goodsell said De Vries was now training hard for the summer season.
