CHIROPRACTIC treatment is not just for adults and can be suitable for little ones too.

Asha Burkett from the Melville Family Wellness Centre said people were probably unaware that babies suffering from colic, breastfeeding troubles or passing their first bowel movement had previously benefited from chiropractic treatment.

“After just one treatment, some mothers have reported the baby is sleeping longer and burping easily,” she said.

Dr Burkett said a mother recently brought in her seven-day-old baby Coel who was suffering from colic.

“Coel has multiple spinal restrictions and using gentle force, a chiropractor can free up the restriction, allowing the nervous system to function at its best,” she said.

Dr Burkett said births could be traumatic on a baby’s neck and spine, particularly when complications arose and implements such as forceps were used.

For new mothers with babies that are not settling or have issues feeding and really the list is endless..every baby should be checked by a chiropractor. I have personally seen amazing results. I now have a healthy vital child without chiropractic this would have been very different with more money spent in alternative therapies than I could imagine. Allow your children to grow and have selfawareness. It is a gift for life. Chiropractic changed my families life
